Factory coating of carbon alloy steel generally refers to a kind of casting steel with chromium content of 2% ~ 6%, carbon content of 0.3% ~ 1.2%. The distinguishing feature of the carbon alloy steel coating is adopting a multivariate alloy design. Carbon alloy steel rolling mill coating increases the carbide content in medium carbon alloy steel, increasing the content of Cr and Mo, solid carbide forming elements, to improve its performance of heat and wear resistance.

Product Description

Alloy steel liner cement ball mill liner generally refers to a kind of casting steel with chromium content of 2% ~ 6%, carbon content of 0.3% ~ 1.2%. The distinguishing feature of the cement ball mill liner is that it adopts a multivariate alloy design. Alloy steel liner cement ball mill liner increases the carbide content in the middle carbon alloy steel, increasing the content of Cr and Mo, the strong carbide forming elements, to improve its heat and wear resistance performance. Accordingly, its high strength, high toughness and good wear resistance properties represent the relatively high level of wear resistant metallic materials.

Alloy steel liner cement ball mill liner is widely used for power coal ball mills, cement ball mills.

Application

The role of a ball mill coating is to protect the grinding heads against wear, thus increasing their life and creating optimum grinding efficiency. The design of a ball mill liner depends on the drill pattern of the grinding heads, the rotational speed of the grinder, the maximum grinding diameter of the media, and the percentage fill of the media. In this way, an optimal compromise can be obtained between the grinding efficiency and the service life of the equipment. Ongoing studies of the coating profile help monitor the situation so that improvements can be made. Liners are easy to install thanks to their filling ring and handling system. The type of ball mill liner known as the shell liner, covers a range of shell liners for everything from fine grinding to coarse grinding. These liners are energy efficient and allow low consumption of grinding media.

They can be continuously assessed through profile studies and the design can be tailored to customer needs by Magotteaux engineers. Grinding efficiency meets shell protection with its anti-pulp racing design. It also minimizes the consumption of grinding media. The design will be created based on the drilling pattern of the crusher shell, the speed of the crusher, the diameter of the grinding rack and the percentage of the media full. The type of ball mill liner known as grid liner is designed for discharge efficiency. It allows the evacuation of crushed materials via slots. With the range of HG alloys and their experience, a longer service life and optimum grinding can be achieved.

The designs of grid liners depend on their hole pattern, mill speed, grinding media diameter, media fill percentage, flow rate, and presence of rollers. They are used in AG mills, SAG mills, all grid discharge mills (rod and primary mills etc.) Grids are made of CrMo for AG and grid discharge mills and High-Chrome as well for AG shredders. The design is adapted to prevent ball overturning and to accommodate existing pulp liners. A ball mill liner has an anti-pulp stroke design to prevent the circulation of pulp. It is also designed to minimize the consumption of grinding media.

The choice of alloy used for the coating depends on the operating conditions of each mill or plant, its expected life and cost. Liners can be made from Chrome-Moly or High-Chrome. They are used in AG and SAG mills, ball mills and bar mills. As always with HG products, solutions can be tailored to meet your operation’s goals and deliver better results.
